Watch my new film Wild Islands:

Wildlife Guiding & TV

My experiences of working in the field have led me to be a wildlife guide for TV productions such as ITV's Ray Mears and the BBC's The One Show when filming on location for documentaries.

Using local knowledge I have developed an excellent ability to find wildlife. If you are a TV production company and want to get in touch about filming on the west coast of Scotland, please contact me.

I speak on the radio about my adventures with wildlife - listen to my latest interview on the BBC Radio Scotland's Shereen Show.

I have been a Senior Wildlife Officer for ORCA for 2 years. Based on a mini-cruise ship in the North Sea I delivered daily presentations and evening lectures to the public about the importance of marine wildlife. The North Sea is a fantastic classroom and the whales and dolphins are invaluable educational tools!

On my shore leave, I am a Wildlife Guide for Sealife Adventures, a Wildlife Watching boat in Scotland. I educate guests about Scotland's great wildlife as we see it - mainly whales, dolphins, seals, eagles and otters.

“The highlight of our holiday. For us what really made the trip special, as well as the wildlife, was Sara's knowledge, compassion and enthusiasm shown for the local wildlife”
